Detailed Itinerary
Day one
You will be picked from your hotel in the morning and head south through Kampala-Masaka road. We shall have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for a cup of Ugandan coffee, relax and take some photos at the equator monument before crossing into the southern Hemisphere.
We shall then drive to Lake Mburo National Park. We shall have lunch and head to the lake for a boat ride to view wildlife animals and water birds.
Day Two
Day two starts with an early morning game drive where you will get a chance to view a number of birds and wild animals in their natural environment.
Lake Mburo National Park is home to 350 bird species as well including Giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, and reedbuck. After the game drives, we drive out of the park and head to Igongo Cultural Centre for a hot lunch and later Ankore cultural experience before driving to Mbarara city, checking in the hotel, refreshing and relaxing.
We can later go out, have dinner and enjoy Mbarara’s nightlife experience till late before retiring to our hotel to rest.
Day Three
We shall have breakfast and drive back to Kampala. This marks the end of the tour
